• Adequately fund salary for teachers

• Enhance parental involvement programs

• Continue funding for early childhood education, full-day kindergarten, and afterschool programs

• Provide jobs with good benefits and security

• Provide tax incentives and economic opportunity for small businesses

• Provide state programs to enhance the quality of life for senior citizens and youth

• Provide better access to free and lower prescription drug programs
